To animate or not to animate

I mentioned in my first post that I had made youtube videos. I used to make a lot of them but I kinda took a break. Why you may ask? I wasn't happy with my videos. I was wandering from one animation/video technique to another, trying to find something I enjoyed working with. So I after making so many experiment type videos, I decided I would just stop making videos until I could find something that I could be happy with. After a while I started uploading a few more videos but they mainly update type stuff. Since then I have started learning 3d and I am finding that I love it! I'm learning a ton of stuff and it's really fun and I can make pictures with it that I am happy to call my work. So now that I'm learning some 3d, I thought: "I should make a 3d animation video for youtube". There are two small problemo's to that though. First issue is that I don't really know any 3d animation yet. That's no big deal though cause I can just learn it! Other problem is that I'm running the Cinema 4d demo and to animate would mean that I would have to activate the demo's 42 day extended features trial type of thing. So if I did that I would either need to already know some animation stuff first or have to learn it quickly and then animate in the time I have left. So I think I'd better start learning this animation stuff first and then activate the demo when I know enough to just start working.
In other news. Medic + Medic + sewers of 2fort (On Team Fortress 2)=Fail XD

  2. Well ya but the idea of it kinda bugs me. I'm the type of person where that would be like a dark cloud over my head every time I used it. No offense to you I hope, (I mean I can understand you not being able to afford it and all that) but I think I'm just gonna wait it out.

  4. Ya I looked into blender (Actually I downloaded it too lol) Very odd setup for sure. Maybe I'll decide to try to learn it again but really cinema 4d is so easy, I love the layout of it and all that. Kinda makes it hard to go back to blender but that's just me.

I've seen some pretty impressive stuff out of blender though. There's a lot of potential there ^_^
