To be honest, anyone can see, this blog is pretty dead beyond the occasional 1-2 month apart post. I haven't had the time to keep it up, or the progress to fill it with (seeing as the thing that kept me busy also gets in the way of my progress...)
So with that, I'm kinda calling an unofficial hiatus here. I'll keep the blog up for reading's sake. For old memories sake, but beyond that, I will not be updating, unless things come up totally worth updating about and if that happens then I'll probably become active more again.
For now I won't stop towards my goals, but I will stop towards posting ehre for now...seeing as it is not doing much for me x.x

Right now, my film is only an infant, a fetus even. How then can I simply abandon it? A poor father gives up on their child before it has even grown, but a good father instead roots for his child and puts his faith and belief into his kid hoping that they will become the best they can be and trying their best to support them towards that. To this end, I will not give up on the idea that is my future film, but realize that it truly is weak, but that with proper care and support, it will grow into a strong thing able to stand on it’s own without my support.
For selfish reasons, I have questions of my own of things I have failed to find answers for myself, so perhaps if I raise this infant to adulthood, I will find that the answers I’ve been looking for have been hidden with it, and perhaps it will hand over the secrets which have eluded me.
All this to say, my script is not finished, my film is not dead, I am not giving up.
Even if this blog dies, I will not, and my ideas will not.

oh yeah! ..film story writing!
I guess I forgot to mention o.o I've been writing a pilot story/script type thing for my big film idea.. The idea itself has been years in the making, I've wanted to make the story and I've tried a few different ways in my life ( comics, rpg maker, roleplaying it) So now I'm simply writing, and if it works well enough then I'll adjust and fix up what I don't like and make it more script n_n
I'd write more but I am almost falling asleep here at the computer, bottom line, I am writing a story that may become my first film one day! Ni NI world!

Why so poly?
You know what I find kinda annoying about 3d animators in the industry (and even in hobbyist circles) ?
They are TOO OBSESSED with 3D! What I mean is..they push the polys like crazy! Everything has to be super hightech. You know like being able to see the very wrinkles in the skin and such! but why? Por qué?!
I find the old movies are good examples. Think back to like any classic animated film. Think of one, mostly 80's and further back. Now did they have wrinkles in their skin? maybe ..maybe some? but not most. Why? because hand drawn animation took a lot more out of an animator to do..he doesnt want to do super detailed man every single frame! It's like naruto..I believe I read Sasuke was supposed to have this indian looking necklace thing? I forget what it was exactly but the point was they cut it out cause the artist didnt want to re-draw that every frame of his manga! Things like that are normal in any hand-drawn animation because it's just too much work per frame.
But did that stop the film from being awesome? Some of the biggest classics were made on those techniques. They didn't have the highest detail but you want to know what they did have? They had awesome stories and characters! Those things are the core of the movie, the writing. If your writing is weak, what will your movie be? It will be tron ^ ^ nice effects and lame story. I liked tron for the effects! but the movie's story was VERY weak. And that goes for both of them IMO!
I've been thinking, why does everything have to be so high poly? Why isnt the story the core half the time if not more? I think there's a lot you can do with an awesome story..and as for looks? Be creative! A limited budget on polygon's forces you to figure out interesting ways to make something look nice within it's limits. Master that! That's what I'm trying to do..
I've always been interested in learning how to make the simple stuff look great. I'd still like to know how to make high quality stuff but that's just for knowledge's sake. I'd also like better computers just cause my frames like to take 60+ seconds per-frame with complicated lighting and such. I'd like to be able to have free reign on lighting ^ ^
btw look up David O'Rielly ! I mean warning, some of his stuff is offensive, but he uses low poly everything and he's kinda a sensation right now n_n

You're Bored?!
"I'm Bored", "Nm just sitting around bored", "I'm freaking bored" -many people
Maybe it's just me, but it seems like people say ^ those ^ things a lot these days. Always complaining about having nothing to do and such. Always griping about how they are sooo Bored. Really? You're bored?
The fact that people can afford to be bored is strange enough, but the fact that people can even be bored is stranger! Especially in this day and age!
I don't know, maybe it's just those creative types who are never bored....nope I've heard the same things out of their mouths too.
Just to put some context on this, I'll use myself for example.
If I'm not filming, animating, directing, acting in, writing, or editing a video, then I might instead be making graphics for the video, a logo, a personal project, a website/social site (this blog for example), or who knows what else, it could be t-shirts or bussiness cards or even just making my profile picture look golly-gee swell : 3
Then if I'm not doing either of those things I might be chatting with someone online, browsing the internet (which could be a list in itself), playing games (of which there are a ton of them, priced or free), even maybe making some music or playing with sound editing (something I really need to do more).
And lets not forget outside of the computer. I could be hanging out with friends and doing who knows what with them. I could be drawing or playing music. I could go on walks or explore or drive around town if I felt like it. I could call someone on the phone (which I rarely do) or I could be watching tv (another thing I rarely do). And ofcourse don't forget about listening to music or reading a book ( or heck, writing a book n__n )
Ofcourse usually I don't have time for a lot of this because I go to college, so right there is more stuff to do I can be at class or if I'm not I could be home studying or doing my homework or doing extra to get ahead.
And that's barely the limit of what I or anyone can do! COME ON GUYS! "I'm bored" is no longer an excuse, maybe once in awhile when you are cut off from everything? But is that even common? Maybe for some not for me, so idk I'm like biased or something.
Next time you're bored. I suggest don't say "I'M BORED D;" DO SOMETHING INSTEAD :D

Who Are You?
Do you ever feel lost? Like completely lost? Not in location but just no matter where you are.
You search and search for that thing called self. You may ask someone but they can't help, maybe you look deep into yourself but you no longer recognize your own insides, and even in the mirror it is just a stranger to you. In that mirror is you really, but not you. You on the outside, But WHO ARE YOU? Can you answer that? Really?
I think a lot of people laugh when others talk about "Finding themselves". Not out loud but on the insides, they think it. But everything is always funny until it happens to you right?
I was thinking, maybe that is an artist's drive, maybe they think that art is their way of expressing themselves, and within expressing themselves, they learn who they are as much as we do if not worlds more so.
Creating for the sake of self discovery. Maybe that's why? I'd like to know, why do artists create?
and now I go to bed.

Fix up!
Lately I've been going in and updating everything that has to do with my online stuff, and as such I've came to modifying this blog..
So I would like to mention I added tabs now, we.. A tab but I'm going to add more as I see fit...
Right now there's just one for short films and one that takes you back to the homepage x3
I'm also not sure what I'll do with the background and colors..I mean what I have now is ok. but I'm just not sure if it feels me enough..idk x3 I may be changing that so if the blog looks radically different from one day to the next..that just means I'm experimenting :D
and also..I somehow managed to break the followers box..like it will show up but it wont display my followers o_o; I'm going to see if I can fix it..but idk if anyone has had that happen before I'd love to know how you fixed it..assuming you did..
Also, I'm thinking of adding one of those streaming music things to the blog..Like Nikki has with her own.. good idea? o.o

a blog post for and about YOU!
So I was looking through the updates from blogs I've subscribed too, and I saw Mr. tehkurious's latest blog post, sharing an animation he had made. Namely this one:
and it got me thinking back to the days when everyone seemed excited about animating and stuff, everyone seemed to have their own projects planned for the future and it was an exciting time to me.. By everyone I mean back when the movie "We Are The Strange", Was first out, I remember Reyori was making little things, koolskull had a video called "Contrary to the Brain" I think it was...and some stuff like that.
and it got me thinking...it would be cool to have a playlist of all these old projects people had, and of ones as they came along too, it could show old work and new work..idk it's also 5am so that might be a stupid idea..but it feels neat rigtht now so I will speak my mind! :D
and anyone who wanted theirs added to it would contact me or whoever was in charge of this and it would be added on..maybe not even just a playlist but some kinda spot for this stuff, like an underground animator's list or something...idk I'm just throwing my 5am-intoxicated ideas out there (as in 5am has intoxicated my mind..no not beer or whateve)..idk anyone think that's a good idea? or maybe a modification of that! Maybe even drop cataloging the old stuff and make it all about new stuff? idk...this will probably feel stupid when I wake up, oh welllzzz

* noms your screen*
I've been meaning to make an update about something but I've been a stupid meany head and forgot! D:
So yeah , you remember how I made that alt blog? Probably not, maybe so, idk.
Well here's the thing..that was a stupid idea I says! I've been thinking..why is it ever a good idea to split up my posts between two blogs? One would die and the other may live..so I decided upon a new plan.
I'm going to keep this blog as my main, all my video updates that would go on that blog will be on this now starting with my next video. ((which is almost done I might add))
So I guess I'll delete the old blo-actually no! I wont do that.
I decided that blog will remain..as mainly a catalog more than a real blog. Everything I make will be posted here but Ill post it their as reference..UNLESS I can remember how to make a dedicated post on my blog that is only accessible by a special tab to it..then I WILL delete the other one, since you know it won't be needed anymore?
Also I'd like to mention the new video I'm making..It's been taking long but it's because I've been trying to make it my best yet! Technically maybe I shouldn't call it mine since I didn't come up with the idea, I did share in the directing, film most of it, and I'm doing all of the editing.
Also it's worth mentioning that a miss Inizny was generous enough to make a painting for it by my request, and I'm EXTREMELY honored that she did ^ ^
Hopefully this bla-bla-blah will justify itself when the video is finished but I guess that's YOU'RE opinion that matters there not mine!
I plan to have it done by the end of the week so hopefully new updates soon! ^ ^

the updates are shrinking! D:
super QUICK super small update thing..though knowing me I bet it still ends up a book x3...oh look it already i-
Anyway, updating to say I'm working on another video. It's a "Bored Weekend Studios" video that we filmed last Monday and that I'm doing the editing for :3(which btw, I'm just gonna call BWS for now on x3)
I did a few other things in for this video but my biggest job is probably the editing..and ..I'm having fun :3
Hopefully I can get it reasonably close to done by the end of the week but who knows? maybe it will be on youtube by then :3
so yeah...Guh-knight or whatever the kids say these days...

Mini Update
Fixed up both blogs layouts..made them pretty again!
..Currently have written scenes one and two of a video I'm planning to present to my friends soon to see if they'll work on it with me, it's mainly for fun but I want to go a bit further with this one than usual..but yeah Currently have scenes one and two written out of..6 scenes I believe. the video will probably be under 10 minutes long, but who knows it could be longer...
and before I forget, I have 5 challenges for myself with this
1, Take a more clear, better constructed, story than our usual,
2, better attention than usual, avoiding inconsistencies and actually set up the "stages" with background props ands stuff,
3, work on a unique look for this video, it cant look like any video we've made before, it has to be unique and it's own while still conveying an atmosphere similar to want it to,
4, make the world of this short new and well defined, we'll probably be filming in places we've already filmed before, so I'll need to work extra hard to keep it from seeming like the same place..
5, actually have a main idea behind this one..AKA not our old Joe and Kurt film!
This is mainly for my own notes but feel free to ask questions..though right now..I'm going to sleep so I'll feel free to answer them tomorrow :3

In Panic She Smiles
So true story, the weather around here's been really bad..I mean REALLY BAD, as in houses have literally been destroyed, people are missing, one confirmed dead in a few towns over...it's been chaos and then I find out my Grandmother's house had been hit by a tornado too! Her windows all being smashed out and a tree knocked over in her front yard, the cieling leaking and her and her dog hiding out in the bathroom where there are no windows.. The police weren't letting anyone on the roads do to disconnected powerlines and fallen trees, so we couldnt get my grandmother, her phone kept cutting out too so we could hardly reach her, everyone's nervous and me ..I have HORRIBLE nerves, it takes a lot to get me nervous and scared but when I do I FREAKOUT! SO I'm standing around and pacing the room, shaking cause I'm scared and really I can't do ANYTHING, nothing I can do will help the situation so I think "I've got to get my mind off this,..." over and over again until I glanced over at our table, on the table was a pile of paper and an old pencil. THAT WILL WORK! So I quickly grabbed it and started nervously jotting away at it, I don't even know what I'm drawing, I start with an eye, I go over it a few times, it needs another eye..I make another eye, it needs hair..I draw hair..so on so forth "It needs this , that doesn't feel right" and soon I'm done, I kinda stop and stare, my body still trembling from my anxiety, and there is this thing before me...
For some reason, this simple picture ends up making me smile. It's not because it's brilliantly done, it's not cause it's the best or even that great. It's the fact that it came about on it's own, I just followed my panic'ed feelings and here's what I get! It makes me think, if I can harness my FEAR into a picture like this, what else can be harnessed for something much bigger? fear, anger, love, hope, joy, SOUL. Maybe that's nothing new to any body and I'm just being a broken record now..but to me it finally clicks, I've heard it before but it clicks, and maybe it's just a dumb picture to everyone else..whatEverrr cause it's something to ME and that matters a bit right? ^ ^
And as I was typing this I get word that they got my grandmother and she's currently crossing the bridge into town (aka a lot closer too us) so we WIN!
